PRANAYAMA

The practice of yoga involves so much more than just its forms (asanas). Yoga is the relationships built between the mind, body, and breath (pranayama). Yoga is a reflective practice that provides space to free yourself from obstacles by learning from the past, strengthening the present, and creating a vision for the future. Yoga involves the whole you – mind, body, and spirit.

Inspired by uniting the power of the mind with the wisdom of the body, yoga has been a practice of Nikkol’s since 2010 and has contributed towards expanding her personal growth through self-reflection. In 2019, she decided to pursue professional training in yogic studies completing a 200hr Yoga Certified Teacher Training with Shelly Tomczyk and a 200hr Yoga Immersion Certification Training with a focus on trauma informed theory and techniques with Yoga Outreach. Nikkol continues to develop her knowledge in yogic studies, that guide her personal and professional practice by attending additional trainings, workshop, and retreats throughout the year.

Nikkol offers private or small group yoga sessions with the intention to share knowledge and insights she has learned along the way to you and your personal journey towards wholeness. Using intention, meditation, pranayama, and asana, her classes aim to provide an experience that supports conscious exploration of the body and mind through breath and movement. She guides in a way that promotes thoughtful and meaningful reflection, letting individuals experience for themselves the benefits of calming the mind and connecting to the body. Delivered in English and Sanskrit, her classes vary depending on individual needs, offering choices throughout the practice to support all levels and abilities.
